How does the Office differ from the Aviary?

The Office is our speakeasy bar located below the Aviary Chicago, serving classically-inspired cocktails and antique spirits. The decadent food selections are available exclusively to the Office.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes. Every night 50% to 60% of our seating is reserved for walk-ins.

What does a booking purchased from the Office get me?

You can select from one of our two Office experiences. Each experience is per person in your party, and is priced accordingly. The Office Menu experience is composed of four classically inspired cocktails, each paired with food to match. The Office deposit is simply a credit toward your final bill. If you reserve a party of two, your final bill will be less the full deposit amount paid.

Am I able to order drinks from the Aviary while sitting in the Office?

No. The Aviary and Office are considered separate venues. To maintain the unique and distinct feeling of each space, we only serve the Aviary menu upstairs and the Office menu downstairs.

What about allergies or other restrictions?

Please email any allergies and dietary restrictions to hospitality@theaviary.com in advance of your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Why bookings instead of reservations?

Bookings allow us to guarantee your reservations and better understand how long you plan to be with us that night. By eliminating no-shows, requiring pre-payment, and varying the price by time and day we are able to create a predictable and steady flow of patrons allowing us to offer a great deal more than would otherwise be possible at these prices.

What should I do if I am running late?

If you are running late, please email hospitality@theaviary.com. Note that if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time, there may be a delay in seating you.

I can't make my booking. Can you sell my booking as one of your Same Night Tables on Facebook?

No. You are welcome to post your booking on our Facebook page, where many guests look to buy, sell, or trade their bookings. All resales are the responsibility of the ticket purchaser.

Can I give my booking away or sell it?

Yes. The booking is completely transferable, meaning can be transferred to the name of a guest who is able to join us for the reservation. However, selling bookings for greater than face value may be illegal in your area. Anyone who purchases a booking from another patron should take care to be sure that the packages purchased are as claimed by requesting both an email confirmation from us as well as a printed booking from the seller. Any bookings purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser's risk. We will not be held responsible for forgeries or misrepresentations. I have a party of 5 or more, how can I buy a booking?

Please email hospitality@theaviary.com for parties larger than four.

How do I transfer a booking?

To transfer a booking, log into your Tock account at profile.tocktix.com. Once logged in, select "Your Bookings" on the upper right. To transfer a booking, click the "Transfer" button next to the specific booking. Note, you can only transfer bookings to another guest who has a Tock account.

How far in advance may I purchase a booking?

Bookings are currently available for purchase on our website through the end of October.
